Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable activities for nine Swiss stores, including daily monitoring of account status and follow-up on open items.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and non-monetary reconciliations between POS and SAP (gift certificates, credit notes, deposits); investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with store teams and managers.
  • Oversee deposit management and related account monitoring, liaising with departments and stores to improve controls, reporting and follow-up.
  • Execute sales audits — reconcile and report sales details between POS systems and SAP for all Swiss stores.
  • Inform stores daily of incoming bank transfers and maintain clear communication on payment statuses.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to prepare and support monthly and annual closings, ensuring all pending items are justified.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that impact the accounting scope and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including internships; experience in retail or multi-store accounting preferred.
  • Proven proficiency with SAP; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor and attention to detail, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • High ethical standards and ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and French; German is an asset.
  • Available to start immediately for a 12-month internship.
