Louis Vuitton seeks an IT Specialist in Buscate, Italy to manage IT infrastructure and support across Milan-area sites. Full-time, hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Follow up on IT projects and activities involving IT components
- Source and facilitate IT support to meet site flexibility requirements
- Identify and manage incidents with significant impact on production and shipments
- Provide comprehensive reporting on incidents, communicate with affected business teams and IT hierarchy, and identify recurring patterns
- Identify and track IT requests submitted by the site and verify compatibility with governance rules
- Execute, contribute to organization and planning of maintenance operations in coordination with site management
- Monitor end-to-end interventions of IT partners and contractors on site
- Provide and install PC, phones, and tablets; ensure proximity support for all hardware
- Serve as local contact point for deployments and contribute to impact analyses
- Provide post-deployment support and identify improvement opportunities
- Facilitate and support deployment of new IT solutions
- Carry out or participate in project progress reporting
- Disseminate and enforce central IT standards and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technical support field
- Proven experience in proximity/help desk support
- Experience with IT support to internal clients and run of operations
- Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a plus
- Knowledge of WAN MPLS, LAN/WLAN/IPT Cisco networking
- Proficiency with Windows client systems, Apple smartphones and tablets
- Strong expertise in Office 365 full suite and collaboration tools
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in an industrial site environment is a plus
- Experience in an international environment is a plus

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technical field with proven proximity support experience and IT support delivery to internal clients in operational environments.
Education
IT experience or formal qualification in IT or related technical discipline.
