Louis Vuitton Geneva: IT Proximity Support Intern (1-year internship) | Level 2 user support, hardware/software diagnostics, infrastructure maintenance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle assistance requests from VIPs and provide Level 2 user support for incidents and requests via phone, Teams, or direct intervention
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (computers, peripherals, production equipment) and software problems (operating systems, business applications, office automation)
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and IT equipment across the Central Europe region
- Train users on tools and systems, and raise awareness of IT security best practices
- Prepare and deploy new equipment across the organization
- Participate in inventory and monitoring of hardware and software assets
- Manage equipment movements and execute software updates
- Support network and server infrastructure maintenance, including patching IT racks
- Perform regular checks of meeting room conditions and IT facilities
- Write and update technical procedures and knowledge bases
- Propose improvements to optimize support quality and user satisfaction
- Lead training sessions on Office 365 tools, artificial intelligence, and IT security best practices
- Collaborate with IT team members, production departments, and support functions
- Escalate complex problems to expert teams or external suppliers as needed
Qualifications
- IT CFC (Federal Certificate of Capacity) or IT Technician ES (Higher Technical School) diploma, or equivalent qualification
- Confirmed experience as an IT & User Support Technician in a large international company (preferably in fashion, automotive, or watchmaking)
- In-depth knowledge of Windows workstation environments
- Proficiency with device management platforms (Workspace ONE, Meraki)
- Familiarity with ticketing and incident management systems
- Ability to work in agile mode on diverse subjects and applications
- Fluent French and English
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT support technician, ideally in a large international organization within the fashion, automotive, or watchmaking sector.
Education
IT CFC (Federal Certificate of Capacity) or IT Technician ES (Higher Technical School) diploma, or equivalent training.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland.
