Role & Responsibilities

  • Define stock targets for stores aligned with sales potential and current inventory positions
  • Manage store replenishment processes and adjust distribution parameters including auto-replenishment calendars and shortage prioritization
  • Anticipate seasonal demand fluctuations and build inventory strategies accordingly
  • Provide strategic visibility to merchandising and retail teams for new product launches and business planning
  • Coordinate distribution setup for new store openings, renovations, and special events
  • Optimize network stock levels to ensure inventory growth remains proportional to sales performance
  • Monitor and improve critical KPIs including overstock, availability, and obsolescence rates
  • Maintain accurate product status in the Order Management System and manage client fulfillment priorities
  • Execute stock rebalancing, inter-store transfers, and central team escalations to fulfill client orders
  • Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards and KPI reports
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends and patterns informing inventory and distribution decisions
  • Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, merchandising, retail, and Paris-based central supply chain teams
  • Participate in global supply chain initiatives and projects representing Japan's regional interests
  • Challenge existing processes and systems to drive continuous improvement in overall supply chain efficiency

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management or retail fulfillment operations
  • Fluent Japanese and professional-level English proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities
