Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and govern inventory control functions across distribution centres, with primary focus on New Jersey and Canada sites.
- Provide oversight, direction and accountability for inventory processes, material flows and operational exceptions.
- Collaborate with 3PL inventory control teams to define and implement procedural improvements that enhance accuracy and handling efficiency.
- Review monthly inventory adjustments for correctness and appropriate financial booking.
- Oversee and audit physical inventories and cycle counts performed by 3PL partners; lead internal and external inventory audits.
- Conduct root-cause analyses on shrink and discrepancies, and partner with 3PLs to implement corrective action plans.
- Analyze and reconcile stock discrepancies arising from system integrations; coordinate resolution across systems.
- Support implementation of new inventory flows and projects, review movement for continuous improvement and lead UATs for system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution centre operations, inventory control or related functions; experience managing 3PL relationships preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and strong PowerPoint competency; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory operational flows.
- Proven experience supporting inventory audits and maintaining accurate process documentation.
- Strong analytical, statistical and problem‑solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across levels.
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple priorities and deliver follow‑through on corrective actions.
- Willingness to be on site four days per week at the Piscataway distribution centre.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in distribution centre operations, inventory control or a closely related discipline; prior oversight of 3PL partners, execution of cycle counts and inventory audits, and leadership of system UATs strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business or equivalent professional experience preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 85,000 per annum.
