Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate industrialization activities for women’s elegant footwear structures, reporting to the Head of Women’s Industry.
- Collaborate with the pattern maker to verify and update approved lasts/forms required for component development.
- Manage ordering and inventory of lasts/forms to enable start of industrialization.
- Create, maintain and enter technical specification packs (industrialization datasheets) for structural components into the company system.
- Generate and monitor purchase orders for components needed during the industrial development phase.
- Coordinate development and validation phases with suppliers and manufacturers (including on‑site visits) to ensure precise execution of agreed specifications.
- Work with industrial modelling to secure approval of fit trials and assess manufacturability.
- Perform back‑office activities related to industrialization processes (ERP entries, production confirmations, component coding).
- Control timing and milestones of the development plan and ensure adherence to scheduled dates.
- Manage master component validation with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Inspect and verify first production lots delivered by manufacturers against confirmed specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in industrialization within women’s elegant footwear.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating suppliers and manufacturers through development and validation stages.
- Strong problem‑solving orientation, responsiveness and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with concise communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams including pattern makers and industrial modelling.
- Willingness and availability to travel for supplier and factory visits.
Experience
At least 5 years of direct experience in the women’s elegant footwear sector, specifically in industrialization, supplier coordination and production validation.
Education
Degree or technical diploma in industrial engineering, footwear technology, product development, fashion technology or a closely related technical field — or equivalent practical experience within footwear manufacturing.
