Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the last/form maker (formista) to verify and update approved lasts for component development.
- Manage ordering and logistics of lasts to enable start of industrialisation activities.
- Create, maintain and control technical industrialisation datasheets for structural components.
- Enter and maintain component codifications in the product management system.
- Generate and monitor purchase orders for components required during industrial development.
- Coordinate and manage the development phase with external suppliers and manufacturers — including on‑site visits — to ensure accurate execution of specifications.
- Work with industrial patternmaking to secure approval of fitting trials and assess production feasibility.
- Perform back‑office industrialisation tasks (ERP entries, production confirmations, documentation updates).
- Maintain development timelines and planned milestone dates.
- Manage master component validation, liaising with external suppliers and internal colleagues.
- Inspect initial production lots delivered by manufacturers to verify conformity with agreed specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in women's elegant footwear industrialisation.
- Proven experience coordinating suppliers and manufacturers through development to production validation.
- Available and willing to travel for supplier and factory visits.
- Strong problem‑solving aptitude with a demonstrated ability to meet planned deadlines.
- Effective analytical, synthesis and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams and with technical patternmakers.
Skills
Experience
At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in the industrialisation of women's elegant footwear, including managing component development, supplier coordination, fitting trials and production validation.
Education
Bachelor's degree in footwear technology, industrial engineering, product development, fashion design or equivalent professional experience in footwear manufacturing.
