Louis Vuitton seeks Industrial Technician for women's ready-to-wear in Buscate, Italy. RTW development and production expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical production dossiers using PLM systems, integrating product development information and fit adjustments from headquarters
- Verify and validate bill of materials (BOM) nomenclature across all phases from industrial prototype launch through full production
- Coordinate receipt, analysis, and consolidation of industrial prototypes, measurements, testing, and associated technical feedback
- Archive and maintain updated technical dossiers and model imagery for ongoing reference
- Ensure industrialization processes are properly documented and consolidated within management systems for effective information governance
- Share technical dossiers with manufacturing partners in accordance with production assignments
- Monitor industrial prototype production with rigorous oversight protocols
- Receive industrial prototypes and conduct measurements, testing, and technical commentary
- Validate first production samples for production sign-off and compliance confirmation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in industrialization or product development roles within ready-to-wear
- Advanced knowledge of apparel and textile sector development and production processes
- Advanced knowledge of garment patternmaking and construction methodology
- Strong stakeholder relationship and partnership management capabilities with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects within objective-driven frameworks
- Availability for frequent travel within Italy and internationally
- Fluency in Italian and English; French is advantageous
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5–7 years in industrialization or product development roles within the ready-to-wear apparel sector, with demonstrated expertise in managing technical specifications, production processes, and supplier coordination.
Education
Technical qualification in fashion, textile engineering, or apparel production preferred; formal training in garment construction and industrial processes is advantageous.
Workplace
The role is situated in Buscate, Lombardy, Italy — conveniently close to Milan.
