Louis Vuitton is seeking an Industrial Management Control Director to lead industrial financial performance, planning, reporting and transformation, while managing teams and partnering with operational and central functions. The role is a permanent, full-time, on-site position in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and manage the industrial management control framework to ensure reliable monitoring of economic and financial performance.
- Lead the global industrial finance community and coordinate the teams responsible for performance management.
- Lead and develop direct and cross-functional teams, fostering high standards, collaboration and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure the quality of financial reporting, performance analyses and management summaries.
- Manage the industrial profit and loss account and monitor its key performance indicators.
- Coordinate financial planning, including budgets, forecasts and projections, ensuring the robustness of underlying assumptions.
- Analyse actual-versus-forecast variances, identify performance levers and support action plans.
- Partner with industrial teams and central functions to inform strategic, operational and transformation decisions.
- Support transformation, organisational and financial and industrial performance-management tool projects.
- Ensure process reliability, a strong control environment and continuous improvement of practices.
- Contribute to the optimisation and evolution of management tools, reporting and reference frameworks.
- Coordinate with other Finance teams on closing, compliance, treasury and statutory obligations.
Qualifications
- Higher education qualification from an engineering or business school, or equivalent, ideally complemented by a specialisation in finance or management.
- At least 15 years of experience in industrial management control.
- Strong command of industrial performance management, budget preparation and financial analysis.
- Proven experience leading teams and finance communities in a demanding environment.
- Comfort working in transformation environments and supporting cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in management and reporting tools, particularly Excel and SAP; interest in Power BI and AI topics is a plus.
- Rigorous, curious and tenacious, with a broad strategic perspective.
- Combines leadership and team spirit with operational awareness and the ability to challenge constructively and effectively.
- Fluent French and English; Italian or Spanish is a plus.
