Role & Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a maintenance technician to ensure uninterrupted operation of production equipment in the leather‑goods atelier.
- Adjust and set up sewing machines and other production machinery for optimal performance.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance: install, assemble, maintain and monitor equipment.
- Diagnose faults and intervene rapidly to resolve breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
- Verify machine functioning after interventions and complete traceability records of all maintenance actions.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or preparing a Bac+2/3 (associate degree / technician diploma) in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Proficient with standard office software: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, service orientation, rigor, responsiveness and a proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance is a plus.

Entry-level — suitable for candidates beginning their career who are enrolled in or completing a Bac+2/3 maintenance programme; prior hands-on maintenance experience is advantageous but not required.
Education
Bac+2/3 in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent vocational diploma.

This position is based in Ducey, Normandy, France, within easy reach of Rennes.
