Louis Vuitton seeks an experienced Industrial Auditor in Venice, Italy to conduct supply chain audits and verify manufacturing compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct facility visits to footwear suppliers and manufacturers to verify working conditions, workplace environments, and the accuracy and transparency of production processes, with responsibility for documentation, internal stakeholder communication, and archival management
  • Perform work-in-progress (WIP) inspections on open orders at manufacturing partners and third-party contractors, including report compilation and distribution to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of supplier production capacity verification tools
  • Support the Audit Supervisor in defining, implementing, and applying additional supply chain monitoring systems and protocols
  • Monitor progress and implementation of corrective action plans established with business stakeholders following audit visits

Qualifications

  • Degree in economics or sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in the footwear sector
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production processes
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general information technology tools
  • Availability for frequent business travel (approximately 4 days per week)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interface effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders

Experience
