Louis Vuitton seeks an In-store Learning Manager in Chengdu to lead retail training, talent development and in‑store learning initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and deliver in‑store learning interventions focused on product knowledge, selling skills and service behaviors to ensure consistent on‑floor execution.
- Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to frontline client advisors to accelerate skill application and professional growth.
- Plan, allocate and manage learning resources, schedules and monthly/quarterly training calendars for the store.
- Partner with the central Learning & Development team to co‑create content, programs and learning materials tailored to store needs.
- Track, analyse and report on learning KPIs (completion, quality, impact) and translate insights into action plans.
- Build and sustain an in‑store learning community to activate store culture and develop a bespoke talent pipeline.
- Position the store learning function as a lever for talent development and superior client experience; support trainee and new‑hire onboarding outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail frontline training, coaching or learning delivery—ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of luxury client expectations and product narratives.
- Demonstrated passion for people development and measurable improvement of client experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation.
- Ability to design and manage learning calendars, resources and KPI tracking for a busy retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of retail training, coaching or talent development experience with demonstrable results in improving sales behaviours and client satisfaction; prior experience in luxury fashion or premium retail strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources, hospitality, education or a related discipline preferred.

This position is based in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
