Louis Vuitton in Makati City seeks an In-House Tailor to deliver precision fittings, alterations and repairs for ready-to-wear garments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform precision alterations, bespoke tailoring and repairs on Louis Vuitton ready-to-wear garments to exacting standards.
- Conduct client fittings and collaborate closely with Client Advisors to understand customer requirements and advise on fit and styling.
- Maintain impeccable workmanship and quality control across seams, finishes and garment construction.
- Ensure complete client satisfaction through punctual, discreet and service-oriented delivery of alterations.
- Contribute to the preservation and transmission of the maison’s craftsmanship standards within the store environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ professional experience in ready-to-wear tailoring, alterations or a luxury atelier environment.
- Proven technical ability to interpret, replicate, construct and deconstruct complex garments.
- Exceptional eye for detail and a demonstrable commitment to precision and finishing.
- Strong client-facing aptitude with the capacity to collaborate with sales and client-advisory teams.
- A deep appreciation of Louis Vuitton’s heritage and luxury service ethos, and a commitment to upholding those standards.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in tailoring, alterations or luxury garment construction, preferably within a high-end fashion house or specialist atelier.
Education
Diploma, certificate or vocational apprenticeship in tailoring, fashion design, or garment construction; equivalent professional experience in a luxury tailoring environment will be accepted.
