Louis Vuitton seeks a Human Resources Manager in Toronto to lead talent acquisition, employee development, and HR operations across the Canadian market in a hybrid role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes independently, with junior HR team support, ensuring memorable candidate experiences and timely hiring of high-performing professionals across the Canadian market
  • Develop innovative talent acquisition strategies leveraging social media, AI-assisted sourcing, and traditional recruitment methods to attract and hire exceptional talent
  • Conduct ongoing 'talentelling' conversations with both external market talent and internal employees to identify potential, understand career aspirations, and maintain engagement
  • Implement business strategy within the HR scope, including resource planning, FTE management, and monitoring across all store locations
  • Facilitate annual HR processes including salary reviews, performance evaluations, talent reviews, and succession planning across the market
  • Provide consultative guidance to Store Management on performance management, conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective actions
  • Investigate employee relations concerns and proactively manage ER cases while ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment legislation
  • Manage HR administration and HRIS data accuracy, overseeing smooth onboarding and offboarding processes while optimizing workflows through AI and digitalization
  • Leverage HR reporting and analytics to monitor trends, ensure compliance, and drive data-informed people decisions
  • Foster employee engagement through listening initiatives, internal communication strategies, and local in-store proximity efforts across the market

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of Human Resources experience, ideally within luxury retail or specialty retail environments
  • Substantial direct responsibility for a client group or market scope in luxury or retail settings
  • Proven track record in full-cycle sourcing and recruitment, both internally and externally
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial employment legislation; international or multi-market HR exposure valued
  • Demonstrated mentoring or management experience with junior HR team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline; Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is required. A Master's degree is valued.
