Louis Vuitton seeks HSE & Facilities Coordinator in Corropoli, Italy. Lead health, safety, environmental compliance and maintenance operations at an atelier.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update Risk Assessment documentation and preventive measures for workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance per Italian legislative requirements (D.Lgs. 81/08)
  • Establish, review, and update health, safety, and environmental procedures and operational instructions for the facility
  • Coordinate workforce training and information initiatives on safety and environmental culture in collaboration with the parent company and other Italian locations
  • Manage and verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the facility
  • Coordinate with the Occupational Health Physician to plan and execute mandatory health surveillance programs in liaison with Human Resources
  • Schedule and oversee mandatory safety training in coordination with HR departments
  • Direct emergency prevention and incident response protocols; prepare documentation for contractor management (DUVRI) and interference prevention per D.Lgs. 81/08
  • Produce analytical reporting on workplace incidents, near-misses, and HSE key performance indicators
  • Support Supervisors in ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational instructions
  • Verify compliance with environmental legislation and coordinate third-party waste management activities
  • Validate waste management authorizations held by transportation and disposal contractors; maintain updated documentation
  • Foster environmental awareness through coordinated information and training activities with parent company and other Italian sites
  • Plan and coordinate both routine and extraordinary building and machinery maintenance, including needs analysis, corrective action implementation, and predictive maintenance program development
  • Prepare maintenance budgets and capital investment requirements
  • Select and manage external maintenance contractors
  • Proactively plan and execute timely repair and installation activities
  • Collaborate with Production and Continuous Improvement leadership to enhance operational time, quality, and equipment performance
  • Ensure machinery and equipment compliance to align local operations with corporate standards
  • Provide strategic direction and objectives to the maintenance team
  • Develop key performance indicators to drive operational excellence in machinery and equipment

Qualifications

  • Technical degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Health, Safety, and Environment
  • ASPP/RSPP certification with associated training qualification
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and results-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills and team leadership capability
  • Ability to understand and negotiate contractual terms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent English; French proficiency considered an advantage

Experience
