HSE & Facilities Coordinator at Louis Vuitton atelier in Corropoli, Italy. Lead health, safety, environment, and maintenance operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and implement the Risk Assessment Document and preventive safety measures in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/08
- Prepare, review, and update company procedures and operational instructions for health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Coordinate worker training and information activities in collaboration with the parent company and other Italian sites to foster a safety culture
- Oversee and verify proper use of company personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Schedule and supervise occupational health surveillance in coordination with the Occupational Physician and Human Resources
- Program mandatory safety training in alignment with Human Resources and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate emergency prevention and response protocols, and manage incident documentation and investigation
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation for contractor interference assessments (DUVRI) pursuant to D.Lgs. 81/08
- Generate reporting on incidents, near-misses, and safety and environmental KPIs
- Support supervisory staff in ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational instructions
- Verify compliance with environmental regulations and ensure proper applicability of legislation
- Coordinate third-party activities relating to waste management and associated procedures
- Verify authorizations held by waste transport and disposal contractors and maintain current documentation
- Develop environmental awareness by coordinating information and training activities with the parent company and other Italian sites
- Plan and coordinate routine and capital maintenance activities for facilities and machinery, including equipment needs analysis and corrective action implementation
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Prepare maintenance budgets and capital investment requirements
- Select and manage external maintenance contractors
- Proactively plan and resolve repair and installation activities in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the production manager and Continuous Improvement team to enhance efficiency, quality, and equipment performance
- Ensure machinery and equipment compliance and alignment with corporate standards
- Provide strategic direction, vision, and objectives to the maintenance team
- Define KPI frameworks to drive operational excellence in machinery and equipment management
Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree in engineering or master's qualification in Health, Safety, and Environment
- ASPP/RSPP certification and formal training
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing environments
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities with results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and commercial terms
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent English language skills; French language knowledge is a valued asset

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in health, safety, environment, and facilities management, preferably within industrial manufacturing or production settings. Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, safety culture development, and maintenance operations within regulated environments.
Education
Advanced technical degree in engineering or equivalent master's qualification in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). ASPP/RSPP certification required.
