Louis Vuitton seeks a Global Head of Digital Merchandising in Paris to lead global e‑merchandising strategy, product discovery and a 30+ international team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and steer the global digital merchandising strategy in line with brand vision and e‑commerce objectives, setting annual category budgets and performance targets.
- Establish governance for product visibility (homepage, PLP, ranking, search, launches, drops, capsules, preorders) and translate commercial objectives into visibility decisions.
- Own end‑to‑end product presentation, assortment planning and onsite execution, ensuring premium, immersive discovery across navigation, filters, search and cross/upsell.
- Drive data‑led performance: define KPIs per category/zone, produce reporting and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders, and deploy A/B tests and optimization levers.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Communication, Business Insights, Supply and regional teams to activate SEO, paid search and CRM initiatives that maximise qualified traffic and omnichannel growth.
- Contribute to Digital Elevation and innovation projects (product discovery, new business models, personalization, AI) and develop automation and PIM improvements.
- Orchestrate cross‑functional priorities and arbitrate visibility and activation trade‑offs between categories and launches.
- Lead and develop a global Digital Merchandising organisation (c.4 direct reports, 30+ team members): structure roles, set objectives, manage resources and budgets, and nurture talent.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in luxury retail, including at least 5 years in senior strategic or managerial roles.
- Proven track record defining and executing global digital merchandising strategies that drive online growth while protecting brand equity.
- Fluency in English is required; French is a strong asset.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills with experience influencing at senior levels in a global organisation.
- Deep commercial and product sensibility with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of omnichannel retail, supply chain implications for assortment, and emerging digital technologies (AI, personalization).
- Highly organised, deadline‑driven, creative, diplomatic and adaptable to a fast‑paced international environment.

Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail or e‑commerce with at least 5 years in senior strategic or managerial roles leading digital merchandising, category management or e‑commerce teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce or a related field; MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
