Louis Vuitton General Services Manager near Naples, Italy. Oversee production facilities, machinery, and operations at the Carinaro plant.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain production machinery, systems, and equipment
- Coordinate and supervise routine and extraordinary maintenance interventions on production machinery, assessing service quality from external contractors
- Oversee all maintenance and technical activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures, internal protocols, and safety plans, collaborating with the Prevention and Protection Service
- Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimise downtime and production interruptions
- Support development of maintenance budgets and intervention planning whilst ensuring cost and timeline adherence
- Schedule preventative maintenance programmes
- Analyse root causes of equipment failures
- Collaborate with management on installation of new machinery
- Manage service contracts (cleaning, gardening, landscaping)
- Oversee the company vehicle fleet
Qualifications
- Technical diploma in surveying or degree in engineering or architecture preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an equivalent role
- Knowledge of procurement and contracting regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD
- Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, structured environments
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities
- English language proficiency (written and spoken) considered a significant advantage
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in a facilities management, plant operations, or equivalent engineering services role, with demonstrated expertise in machinery maintenance and coordination of external service providers.
Education
Technical diploma in surveying or degree in engineering or architecture (degree preferred)
