Louis Vuitton is hiring a Finance Director in Mexico City to lead finance, logistics and IS&T across Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the financial strategy for Louis Vuitton operations across Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America, aligning budgets and forecasts with long-term business objectives.
  • Own end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes to support profitability targets and sustainable growth.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting, financial reporting and internal control frameworks; oversee inventory management and compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring transparency and full regulatory compliance.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect organisational assets and cash flow.
  • Provide executive oversight of logistics and supply chain operations including import/export, warehousing, distribution and reverse logistics to optimise cost and service levels.
  • Manage IS&T support and governance to ensure reliable technology infrastructure and vendor performance.
  • Champion continuous operational improvements and cost optimisation initiatives across finance, logistics and IT.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and onboarding to secure advantageous terms and robust supplier relationships.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the Country Manager and senior leadership, delivering data-driven analysis and recommendations for investments and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on financial, tax and regulatory matters and ensure implementation of compliant policies and procedures.
  • Develop, coach and retain a high-performing finance and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with substantive leadership responsibility; experience in retail and/or multinational companies is required.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing finance alongside logistics and IT functions is highly desirable.
  • Proven competence in financial reporting, internal control design, audit management and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial analysis into strategic business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex information clearly.
  • High level of integrity, sense of urgency and results orientation; ability to perform under pressure and manage ambiguity.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written).

Experience
