Louis Vuitton seeks a Field Coach Trainer in Sydney to support New Zealand stores; on‑site role with monthly NZ travel and remote coaching responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Managers to assess learning needs and design bespoke coaching plans aligned to business KPIs.
- Deliver engaging training across new‑hire induction, product knowledge and clienteling, in person and via remote channels.
- Coach and mentor store teams to raise individual performance, team cohesion and the client experience.
- Conduct monthly in‑store visits to New Zealand locations, observing floor performance and providing immediate, actionable coaching.
- Sustain development momentum between visits through virtual sessions, digital coaching tools and regular check‑ins.
- Use Client Voice insights to diagnose root causes of dissatisfaction and to coach teams toward measurable improvement.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and HR to integrate product education with selling skills and ensure consistent onboarding.
- Track and report on training activities, providing Store Management with clear recommendations and progress feedback.
- Identify and nurture internal talent to build future trainers within the store network.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in coaching, training delivery or performance management within luxury retail or fast‑paced premium retail environments.
- Proven ability to design and deliver both face‑to‑face and virtual learning experiences that change behaviour and improve KPIs.
- Demonstrated product expertise in luxury fashion/leather goods and capability to translate knowledge into commercial learning.
- Excellent stakeholder management with proven experience influencing Store Managers and cross‑functional partners (Merchandising, HR).
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to New Zealand (at least monthly) and occasional interstate travel across Australia.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in retail training, field coaching or L&D within luxury or premium retail; demonstrable success supporting multi‑store networks and delivering remote and in‑store development that drives measurable commercial outcomes.
Education
Tertiary qualification in Business, Retail Management, Human Resources, Learning & Development or equivalent vocational experience; equivalent demonstrable experience in luxury retail training will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 per annum.
