Louis Vuitton Fashion Stylist position in Milan, Italy. Lead styling strategy and retail team development for luxury ready-to-wear.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive full styling strategy in-store, city, and region by embedding silhouette approach into every selling ceremony and increasing ready-to-wear development and off-the-rack conversion rates
- Lead by example through floor-based client spotting and real-time styling advice to generate upselling and cross-selling across all client advisors
- Create and execute in-store styling activations, service animations, and communication campaigns during key daily moments and collection launches
- Develop style looks and mix-and-match tools throughout the collections, with emphasis on presentation during seasonal resets and buying session preparation
- Curate knowledge of competitive innovations, fashion trends, and local market nuances through store competitive analysis and social channel monitoring
- Partner with merchandising to track sell-through performance and implement actions to drive product priorities and clear slow-moving inventory
- Collaborate with visual merchandising to ensure silhouette approach is optimally showcased throughout the retail environment
- Prepare and animate comprehensive collection training sessions and styling workshops in partnership with ready-to-wear experts and learning teams
- Educate the retail community on mix-and-match techniques and silhouette storytelling to enhance transaction quality
- Support individual development of ready-to-wear experts and client advisors through needs assessment and personalized development planning
- Facilitate new client advisor onboarding with focus on styling competencies and service delivery
- Partner with store management and clienteling on one-to-one client appointment preparation and activation strategy
- Develop elevated routines for one-to-one preparation and animation during collection launches and fashion events
- Participate in key local, regional, and EMEA fashion events as a styling lead, from look development through sales closure support
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated selling and styling experience within luxury ready-to-wear brands
- Proven mastery of mix-and-match styling and silhouette expertise with strong commercial acumen
- Deep product knowledge encompassing cuts, fits, fabrications, silhouettes, and brand DNA codes of key luxury market players
- Fashion-forward perspective with advanced trend sensibility and forecasting capability
- Impeccable verbal communication, public speaking, and storytelling skills
- Client-centric mindset with ability to rapidly assess lifestyle preferences, fashion taste, and personalized needs
- Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative team spirit suitable for supporting client advisor interactions harmoniously
