Louis Vuitton seeks a Facility, Safety and Sustainability Specialist in Padova, Italy to manage compliance, maintenance, and sustainability across production sites.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of plants and machinery, coordinating third-party service providers and ensuring budget compliance
- Draft, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and systems, defining and tracking operational efficiency KPIs
- Develop and update Risk Assessment Documents and health and safety measures in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08
- Verify compliance and applicability of health, safety, and environmental regulations across both sites
- Prepare, control, and update company procedures and operational instructions regarding health, safety, and environment
- Develop and coordinate health and safety training and awareness activities in collaboration with headquarters and other Italian facilities
- Manage and verify correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and schedule health surveillance with the Occupational Physician
- Schedule mandatory safety training and induction programs for new hires and transferred staff
- Coordinate emergency response and incident management; draft necessary documentation for managing third-party interference activities (D.U.V.R.I.)
- Prepare accident reports, near-miss documentation, and safety and environmental KPI reports
- Support supervisors in ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational instructions
- Verify compliance with environmental regulations and coordinate waste management activities with third-party providers
- Monitor and update waste transport and disposal supplier authorizations and documentation
- Develop environmental culture through training and awareness activities; participate actively in Maison and Group sustainability initiatives
- Manage company car fleet policies and coordinate maintenance of fire prevention systems at both sites
Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, or a master's degree in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial or manufacturing contexts
- In-depth knowledge of Italian occupational health and safety legislation (Legislative Decree 81/08) and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and preventive safety planning
- Experience managing third-party service providers and coordinating maintenance contracts
- Familiarity with KPI tracking and operational efficiency monitoring systems
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in a facility, safety, or environmental health and safety management role, preferably within industrial manufacturing or production contexts. Demonstrated experience coordinating third-party maintenance and service providers, managing health and safety compliance documentation, and implementing safety training programs is essential.
Education
University degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent; alternatively, a master's degree in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) topics is preferred.
