Louis Vuitton seeks an Expert Client Advisor specializing in Exotics at the Michigan Avenue boutique in Chicago, Illinois. Full-time, $27–$32/hr plus commission and benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary in-store expert and 'go-to' resource for all client needs related to selling and clienteling techniques within the Exotics category
- Drive Exotics business performance in-store through product expertise, consultative selling, and strategic client engagement
- Deliver comprehensive product training and new product launch education to team members via morning briefings, structured trainings, and one-on-one coaching
- Mentor and coach sales associates through observation during client interactions and provide guidance on introducing Exotics to clients
- Develop and manage a personal portfolio of high-value clients, demonstrating exceptional clienteling practices and building long-term brand loyalty
- Communicate corporate strategy and business priorities to the team, ensuring alignment with Louis Vuitton's commercial objectives
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets within the Exotics category, serving as a sales leader and role model for the team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail or luxury sales experience, with demonstrated expertise in a specific product category
- Proven track record as a top performer and sales leader within a luxury retail environment
- Exceptional storytelling ability and ability to communicate the brand narrative with passion and authenticity
- Advanced product knowledge and the ability to master complex product details quickly
- Strong client relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and nurture high-value client portfolios
- Demonstrated analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales data and drive business decisions
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury retail sales or a comparable high-end client-facing role, with demonstrated expertise in driving sales within a specific product category and a documented history of achieving top sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
