Louis Vuitton Expert Advisor - Watches & Jewellery position in Hong Kong. Full-time luxury retail role requiring 5+ years experience in premium timepieces and jewelry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and team sales objectives and hold accountability for watches and jewelry category performance within the store
- Welcome every client and deliver exceptional, memorable retail moments that exemplify industry best practices
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive client portfolio, proactively recruiting new clients whilst nurturing existing relationships through systematic clienteling tools and engagement strategies
- Provide expert technical and stylistic advice on watches and jewelry, positioning as a reference point for team members requiring specialized product knowledge
- Serve as a style advisor, assessing client preferences and curating personalized product recommendations aligned with individual aesthetic and lifestyle
- Collaborate as a committed team player, contributing to all store-wide initiatives and collective sales objectives
- Communicate the Louis Vuitton brand narrative and articulate the exceptional craftsmanship inherent in the watches and jewelry collections
- Demonstrate authentic passion and visible enthusiasm for the watches and jewelry category, serving as ambassador and role model to the sales team
- Cultivate profound product category knowledge, addressing sophisticated client inquiries and challenging sales scenarios with confidence and expertise
- Lead clienteling efforts within the category, identifying and developing local client relationships with strategic focus
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform personal selling approach and category strategy
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure optimal product presentation and category visibility
- Partner with the Team Manager to provide constructive feedback on product performance, quality issues, and category opportunities
- Gather and synthesize client preferences and market intelligence for the regional Merchandising team to inform future buying decisions
- Support In-Store Trainers and Stylists in elevating peers' selling skills, product knowledge, and styling expertise
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in luxury watches and/or fine jewelry retail or wholesale
- Demonstrated expertise and sales acumen within the premium and high-end watches and jewelry segment
- GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or FHH (Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry) certification preferred
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin Chinese preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of Louis Vuitton brand heritage, story, and craftsmanship philosophy
- Proven track record delivering exceptional client service experiences in luxury retail environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in luxury watches and/or fine jewelry retail, with demonstrated expertise in premium and high-end timepieces and jewelry sales. Prior experience in luxury goods retail or brand ambassador roles highly advantageous.
Education
No formal educational qualification specified; however, GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or FHH (Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry) certification is preferred.
