Louis Vuitton Events Manager in Brussels: lead brand-building events across Benelux, Nordics & Poland. Full-time, temporary contract role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and implement the event strategy for the Benelux and Nordics region in alignment with zone and central guidance, partnering with Client Development, Communication, Merchandising, and Retail teams to drive ROI, desirability, and client loyalty
- Ensure all event executions align with Louis Vuitton's elevated and sophisticated brand image while adopting innovative and creative approaches to event formats and development
- Lead the annual events calendar, trackers, and action plans, ensuring alignment with brand standards and developing local clientele opportunities in partnership with store managers
- Maintain daily communication with retail store teams for event conception and delivery, supporting in-store animations and ensuring smooth execution of all activations
- Manage relationships with internal teams and external suppliers (printing, catering, production) to ensure tasks meet required standards and materials are sourced and ordered effectively
- Track and evaluate all event expenses, manage budgets, raise purchase orders, and ensure all costs remain within allocated parameters
- Research and identify new venues and opportunities within the region for external events and experiential activations
- Analyze event results against key performance indicators (attendance, sales, ROI) and compile comprehensive feedback reports with in-depth analysis for continuous improvement
- Monitor and communicate event response rates to support Client Development teams in achieving attendance targets
- Lead installations and coordinate installation teams for key and large-scale events
- Represent the Maison during events in alignment with its DNA, values, and brand standards
- Foster collaboration across the EMEA zone to share best practices and ensure adherence to brand standards
- Adopt a 360° approach to coordination, ensuring support and adoption across regional, zonal, and store-level teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Communication, Luxury Branding, or equivalent academic qualification providing strong theoretical foundation in brand strategy for luxury fashion houses
- Fluency in English (mandatory) to communicate with stakeholders across eight countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland)
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for presentations, data analysis, budget tracking, and reporting
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated event management experience in luxury retail or fashion environments
- Proven track record of managing and implementing annual event calendars, action plans, and trackers aligned with brand standards
- Practical experience planning and executing diverse event types (in-store, external, client-focused) with operational excellence
- Demonstrated capability in event logistics management, including leading installations and coordinating teams
- Comprehensive budget management experience, including raising purchase orders, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost accountability
- Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to track, monitor, and analyze event KPIs (attendance, sales, ROI)
- Experience compiling detailed feedback reports and conducting in-depth analysis for continuous improvement initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to foster strong working relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of event management experience in a luxury retail or fashion environment, with demonstrated success in planning and executing complex, multi-country event programs. Prior experience in visual merchandising, retail content creation, or cross-functional project management is beneficial. Candidates should possess a track record of managing relationships with both internal retail and merchandising teams and external suppliers including production companies, caterers, and premium event vendors.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Communication, Luxury Branding, Marketing, Events Management, or equivalent discipline providing strong theoretical foundation in brand strategy and luxury market positioning.
