Louis Vuitton Event Specialist in Shanghai — lead event strategy, production, budget and vendor management for the brand's Chinese mainland activities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the annual events calendar to meet commercial and brand objectives, aligning activations with global guidelines from Paris.
  • Conceptualize, produce and execute end-to-end events and pop-up activations across the region, ensuring exemplary brand presentation and flawless on-site delivery.
  • Evaluate event performance, produce detailed project debriefs and HIT lists of outstanding issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and control event POPs and materials inventory, ensuring availability and quality for activations.
  • Manage the events budget, ensure timely creation of purchase orders in accordance with company policy, and conduct post-event budget and expense analysis.
  • Source, contract and coordinate external vendors (design, production, F&B) and continually evaluate new event agencies; manage accounts payable follow-up for vendors.
  • Lead, coach and develop the events team to achieve objectives and high standards of execution under peak and time-sensitive conditions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in events, preferably within luxury retail, fashion houses or premium hospitality.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills; proven experience liaising with international teams (e.g. Paris HQ).
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong follow-through and demonstrable executional discipline.
  • Self-starter with a committed attitude; willing to assume extra workload during peak periods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Experience
