Louis Vuitton in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule hires an Ergonomics Coordinator (Apprenticeship) for a 12–24 month alternance in health & safety and ergonomics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct workstation and job studies (including identification of high‑risk posts and medical restrictions) to inform corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop risk cartographies for new products and upstream processes, including recommendations of ergonomic good practices in collaboration with development referents
  • Map positions across the upstream (production) sector to prioritise interventions and controls
  • Support and animate the site Health & Safety policy according to Louis Vuitton standards
  • Participate in the site Health steering committee (COPIL) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Design and deliver ergonomics awareness and training sessions for production employees
  • Contribute to documentation: writing procedures, process descriptions and clear instructions

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or holding a Bac+4/5 degree (Master level) in ergonomics, occupational health, human factors, industrial engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Strong written communication: ability to describe processes and draft procedures and instructions clearly
  • Autonomous, reactive and able to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams and site personnel
  • Good interpersonal skills for frequent contact with operational staff across the site
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience

Entry-level / debutant: suitable for candidates at the start of their professional career. Previous internships or academic project experience in ergonomics, occupational health or industrial settings is an advantage but not mandatory.

Master's level (Bac+4/5) in ergonomics, occupational health, human factors, industrial engineering or equivalent (current enrolment in an appropriate programme is acceptable).
