Role & Responsibilities

  • Advise HR teams on complex individual employment matters, including sensitive situations, disciplinary proceedings, contract terminations, fitness-to-work assessments, and absences
  • Manage pre-contentious and contentious employee disputes: assess legal risks, develop defence strategies in collaboration with internal and external counsel, oversee proceedings, and secure the company's legal position
  • Secure social compliance through drafting, reviewing, and adapting employment contracts, amendments, correspondence, procedures, and internal standards to ensure adherence to applicable law and operational fit
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on individual labour law questions, delivering clear, pragmatic, and operationally sound recommendations to the HR function
  • Monitor legal, regulatory, and jurisprudential developments in employment law and disseminate material changes impacting company practices
  • Build HR team capability by delivering reliable, pedagogical legal support focused on practical solutions

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in employment law, labour law, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar employment law or HR legal role
  • Demonstrated expertise in individual employment law fundamentals and drafting of legal and social documentation
  • Ability to analyse legal risks and formulate clear, reliable, operationally focused recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability combined with pragmatism and responsiveness in managing sensitive matters
  • Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and collaborative working style with sound critical judgment
