Louis Vuitton seeks an Employee Relations Manager for maternity coverage in New York. $80K–$125K USD annually, fully remote, with comprehensive benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day employee relations issues for retail store employees, including disciplinary action, coaching, counseling, internal investigations, and terminations while ensuring consistency and legal compliance
  • Conduct full-cycle investigations into employee concerns and grievances within assigned scope of stores
  • Review and prepare written documentation such as corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and job abandonment letters
  • Develop and deliver formal training to management on employee relations topics and informal coaching on human relations skills and employment law
  • Partner with employment counsel on employment cases and implementation of new employment legislation
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale, workplace culture, and performance
  • Manage electronic learning management system for employee relations trainings and ensure compliance with legally required harassment trainings
  • Manage electronic background check system and religious accommodation process
  • Report, track, and analyze employee documentation and investigations for patterns, trends, and training opportunity identification
  • Assist with employee termination packages related to store closings or job eliminations
  • Compile and document HR policies and procedures based on competitive and industry research
  • Maintain all relevant employee relations documentation used by HR generalists and management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Proven experience conducting thorough and unbiased internal investigations
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct
