Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for product assortment, permanent catalog, new collection launches, and digital product discovery across all digital platforms
  • Ensure accuracy of product information and oversee new collection launches and category animation online, coordinating calendar compliance and asset creation with central teams, communications, webmaster, studio, and local market teams
  • Develop launch guidelines and visual merchandising standards for markets, leveraging deep product knowledge, business acumen, and refined aesthetic sensibility
  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing customer experience and online product discovery, including navigation enhancements, new features, cross-selling strategies, and personalization initiatives
  • Conduct regular performance analysis of product categories and customer journeys to generate actionable insights
  • Set category objectives, identify growth opportunities, and propose strategic action plans in close collaboration with local teams and insights teams
  • Participate in global showrooms to understand enterprise-wide strategic priorities
  • Negotiate online initiatives—both global and local—with central stakeholders (Merchandising, Communications, Supply Chain) to support digital business growth
  • Act as a key partner to markets, supporting the implementation of e-merchandising strategy at the local level whilst identifying local market needs
  • Maintain competitive intelligence, test innovative approaches aligned with global strategy, and disseminate market best practices across regions

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from a top-tier business school or equivalent university qualification
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in merchandising or e-merchandising, preferably within a luxury house
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience
  • Analytical mindset with strong rigor
  • Solution-oriented with continuous drive for improvement
  • Excellent prioritization skills and superior communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a multicultural, constantly evolving environment whilst maintaining execution quality and positive energy
