Louis Vuitton in Shanghai seeks a Distribution Planning Specialist to manage inventory, allocation and retail supply operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory for the China network: supply, distribution, stock quality, regrouping and rebalancing to optimise in-store product availability.
- Control obsolete stock and coordinate with after-sales on defective product handling and returns.
- Provide regular visibility on store and e-commerce orders; liaise with the Paris product/production teams on lead times and availability.
- Collaborate with Merchandising on special allocations and with Logistics to ensure stock availability for events, caravans and new store openings.
- Plan and manage stock-builds for events and new stores and oversee inventory flow after events or relocations.
- Define and monitor retail operational KPIs in partnership with the retail performance team; deliver workshops and training to store teams to maintain KPI adherence.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' professional experience in supply chain, inventory planning or distribution; experience in luxury goods or FMCG preferred.
- Proven proficiency with Excel and ERP systems; Power BI skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to translate data into actionable replenishment and allocation decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Shanghai and to coordinate with international (Central) teams across time zones.

Experience
At least three years of hands-on experience in supply chain, distribution planning, inventory control or related operations; experience within luxury retail or FMCG environments is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
