Louis Vuitton Distribution Planning Specialist in Shanghai — oversee inventory, allocation and retail stock visibility across China.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory for the China retail network: supply, distribution, stock quality and availability rates across stores and e‑commerce.
- Execute stock maintenance activities including regrouping, rebalancing and obsolete product handling, and coordinate with after‑sales on defective items.
- Provide regular visibility on client and store orders; liaise with the Paris product/production teams on lead times and availability, and coordinate special allocations with Merchandising.
- Plan and support inventory builds for events, caravans and new store openings; coordinate with Central and local Merchandising and Logistics to ensure on‑time stock availability and post‑event replenishment.
- Define, monitor and report retail operational KPIs in collaboration with the retail performance team; deliver workshops and training to store teams to improve inventory discipline and execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' professional experience in supply chain, inventory or distribution planning; experience in luxury goods or FMCG preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑channel stock flows and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (merchandising, logistics, retail).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical capability with attention to data accuracy and KPIs, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.

Experience
At least three years' hands‑on experience in supply chain, inventory control or distribution planning, preferably within luxury retail or fast‑moving consumer goods; demonstrated experience managing store and e‑commerce availability, event allocations and stock rebalancing.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
