Louis Vuitton in Shanghai seeks a Distribution Planning Specialist to manage inventory, events and order visibility across the China network.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage event/caravan and new store stock build: liaise with central and local merchandising, provide pre‑event stock visibility, coordinate with logistics to ensure stock availability and monitor inventory flow post‑event.
  • Oversee inventory maintenance for the China network: manage supply, distribution and store product availability rates, perform regrouping and rebalancing, and coordinate with After Sales on defective items.
  • Track orders and maintain visibility: communicate with the Paris/central teams on production status, lead times and product availability; follow up on store orders and provide regular visibility to stores.
  • Collaborate with merchandising on special allocations and support other daily supply‑chain operations as required.
  • Own deliverables and continuously improve inventory processes and reporting to support store performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum three years' professional experience in supply chain, inventory planning or distribution; experience in retail, FMCG or automotive is preferred.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; French is an advantage.
  • Proven proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, business sense and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrable sense of ownership.

Experience
