Louis Vuitton in Shanghai seeks a Distribution Planning Specialist to manage inventory, events and order visibility across the China network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage event/caravan and new store stock build: liaise with central and local merchandising, provide pre‑event stock visibility, coordinate with logistics to ensure stock availability and monitor inventory flow post‑event.
- Oversee inventory maintenance for the China network: manage supply, distribution and store product availability rates, perform regrouping and rebalancing, and coordinate with After Sales on defective items.
- Track orders and maintain visibility: communicate with the Paris/central teams on production status, lead times and product availability; follow up on store orders and provide regular visibility to stores.
- Collaborate with merchandising on special allocations and support other daily supply‑chain operations as required.
- Own deliverables and continuously improve inventory processes and reporting to support store performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum three years' professional experience in supply chain, inventory planning or distribution; experience in retail, FMCG or automotive is preferred.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; French is an advantage.
- Proven proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical aptitude, business sense and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrable sense of ownership.

Experience
Minimum three years' experience working in supply chain, inventory planning, distribution or a closely related operational role. Prior experience supporting retail networks (preferably high‑end/fashion), FMCG or automotive sectors is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above.
