Distribution Planner, South Asia at Louis Vuitton in Singapore. Fixed-term contract through June 2027 managing watches and jewelry inventory across the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Optimize stock levels across the regional network and central warehouse to prevent missed sales opportunities and ensure product availability at the right locations and moments
- Monitor critical KPIs including overstock rates, availability, and long-tail performance, actively mitigating obsolescence risk for high-value items
- Manage product status within the Order Management System (orderable, non-orderable, under validation) to ensure real-time accuracy for watches and jewelry
- Fulfill client orders by managing stock allocation, executing inventory rebalancing, or escalating to the Central team while prioritizing urgent requests
- Maintain timely communication with retail teams to provide clear visibility on delivery timelines for client orders
- Coordinate with local repair teams and Central functions to ensure products are in impeccable condition before final client delivery
- Present detailed invoicing plans for high-end watch and jewelry pieces to senior management based on insights from dedicated sales tracking
- Communicate event timelines and shipping deadlines to all stakeholders, managing temporary export/import processing requirements
- Collaborate with Merchandising teams to define and secure optimal product assortments for each event and launch
- Facilitate stock support from Central and manage regional rebalancing to ensure timely delivery of all required inventory
- Coordinate efficient and secure inter-event shipments within tight timeframes through strong collaboration between local teams and logistics partners
- Distribute new watch and jewelry collections in alignment with launch strategies, prioritizing top stores for maximum impact
- Manage new product launches by coordinating with central teams and Merchandisers to adapt scenarios during stock tensions
- Drive sell-through optimization through effective post-launch stock rebalancing initiatives
- Contribute to global Supply Chain projects, representing South Asia's needs and ensuring regional interests are met
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing current processes, tools, and organization to boost supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience in Supply Chain and Retail Distribution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI
- Programming skills in VBA and SQL
- Proficiency in SAP
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated reliability in data analysis
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and demonstrating accountability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
