Louis Vuitton seeks an experienced Dial Decorator in Geneva to execute precision dial finishing operations at La Fabrique du Temps.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute dial decoration operations independently using both manual techniques and specialized machinery (sanding, blasting, spraying, sunburst, vertical and circular satin finishing, zapon application, lacquering, protective zapon coating, and dezapon removal)
  • Ensure flatness of dials through manual control or automated sanding equipment
  • Polish flat surfaces across metals, minerals, and enamels with precision
  • Maintain strict compliance with operational procedures, established standards, and workshop safety protocols
  • Contribute to problem-solving through technical analysis and implementation of corrective actions when required
  • Conduct self-inspection of completed work against established quality specifications

Qualifications

  • Formal training in dial decoration (AFP or CFC qualification or equivalent)
  • Minimum five years of hands-on experience in dial manufacturing workshops
  • Full autonomous mastery of flatness techniques and manual/machine decoration operations
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to self-inspect components to quality standards
  • Strong technical aptitude with active problem-solving capability

Experience
