Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of project objectives (specifications, timeline, budget, quality, due diligence) from pre-kick-off to market launch and maintain technical compliance throughout production
• Establish performance indicators, track project milestones, and manage team workload across the development portfolio
• Evaluate, monitor, and reassess development, prototype, and tooling budgets; propose corrective actions for overruns
• Secure economic viability and alignment between cost and product specifications; pilot product evolutions and propose optimization solutions
• Collaborate with quality assurance and suppliers on risk analyses; drive risk mitigation plans through production approval; ensure social, environmental, geographic, supply chain, and governance due diligence
• Guarantee data availability and reliability in PLM systems (pricing, nomenclatures, metal specifications)
• Produce and communicate technical documentation internally and to suppliers; ensure accuracy and completeness
• Lead internal development strategy and serve as principal liaison for stakeholder teams across the industrial scope
• Animate development meetings and monthly steering committees; facilitate information flow and propose recommendations and action plans
• Develop supplier strategy and oversee its execution within assigned segments
• Conduct market studies, lead supplier consultations (pricing, capacity, lead times), propose awards, and manage non-awards in alignment with industrial strategy
• Partner with supply chain and production to manage supplier capacity and production planning
• Execute benchmarking and maintain technical and competitive intelligence across the jewelry sector
• Propose and deploy backup plans, capacity extensions, and dual-sourcing strategies to ensure production continuity
• Ensure regulatory compliance during new supplier qualification; participate in technical and capacity audits; document findings
• Conduct regular supplier site visits and manage stakeholder relationships
• Define resource requirements, oversee recruitment, development, and upskilling of project management team; foster cohesion and team spirit
• Supervise team workload management, escalate resource needs, ensure objective achievement, and maintain backup coverage
• Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews, set objectives, provide feedback, and encourage team engagement
• Lead the 360° development process and champion continuous improvement across cross-functional teams
• Manage crisis situations such as supplier delays and deploy resolution approaches
• Pilot cross-functional projects integrating artificial intelligence and tool/system improvements
• Contribute to integration programs for newly acquired LV entities (Ateliers, design studios, methods)
• Maintain technological vigilance and drive innovation across the jewelry segment
• Contribute to sustainability roadmap development (metal traceability, eco-design, supplier engagement)

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in mechanical engineering, quality engineering, or equivalent discipline
• 8–10 years of experience in product project management and team leadership, preferably in luxury goods manufacturing or comparable environments
• Strong product sensibility and demonstrated passion for jewelry

Skills

Experience

Minimum 8–10 years of product development project management and team leadership experience, ideally within luxury goods manufacturing, high-end jewelry, or comparable artisanal production environments. Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios, supplier relationships, and multidisciplinary teams in quality-critical settings.

Education

Advanced degree in mechanical engineering, quality engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical discipline.
