Louis Vuitton — Paris: Design Assistant (Internship) for Nomadic Objects. Hybrid role supporting product design, 3D modelling and model‑making.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide cross‑category design support to teams working on furniture, decoration, tableware, textile and culinary objects.
  • Produce physical mock‑ups and prototypes (paper, foam board, cardboard, scale models) for internal project reviews.
  • Adapt and prepare graphic artwork supplied by the Art Director to meet technical production constraints.
  • Support designers in 3D modelling and the generation of photographic renderings for project presentations.
  • Manage logistical tasks related to model handling: organisation, packing, preparation and shipping of prototypes and samples.
  • Perform routine administrative duties to support the design team and project workflows.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a design programme (undergraduate or graduate) — product, industrial, interior or related discipline.
  • Fluent French (required) and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Proven hands‑on model‑making ability with strong attention to materiality and detail.
  • Highly organised, autonomous, proactive and able to work collaboratively across creative teams.
  • Creative sensibility with the capacity to propose original ideas and pragmatic solutions.
