Louis Vuitton Continuous Improvement Specialist in Carinaro, Italy. €30,000 annually. Manufacturing process optimization role reporting to Plant Director.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct time-and-motion studies to establish production timelines, lead times, and cycle times using specialized analytical tools
- Support the planning department in optimizing production department workload distribution and capacity management
- Map current-state and future-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and codify best practices
- Implement and maintain data collection and analysis systems to monitor production performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, ideally within footwear, fashion, or luxury goods sectors
- Proficiency with Lean methodologies, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Time Motion Planning (TMP)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Kaizen principles and continuous improvement frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to motivate cross-functional teams
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years in manufacturing operations, preferably in footwear production, fashion, or luxury goods manufacturing. Direct experience with process improvement projects and lean tool implementation is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent discipline preferred).
Workplace
The role is situated in Carinaro, Campania, Italy — conveniently close to Naples.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 30,000 per annum.
