Louis Vuitton seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern in Malissard, France to drive Lean-based logistics optimization projects starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Propose and implement continuous improvement actions on existing and new logistics processes through critical analysis, process creation, simplification, and optimization
- Develop and organize warehouse zone layouts and reconfigurations while improving workstation ergonomics and disseminating best practices
- Lead field-based projects utilizing Lean methods (risk analysis, problem-solving, 5S, PDCA, DMAIC) to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics
- Quantify potential gains, allocate resources, manage project schedules, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure targets are met on time and budget
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an engineering school program (Bachelor +4/5 level) with specialization in industrial methods, Lean Management, or equivalent
- Proficiency in Lean tools (5S, DMAIC, 5P, 5M, VSM, or similar methodologies)
- Advanced proficiency in business software including Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Fluency in English
- Methodical and logical approach to data analysis and problem-solving with demonstrated analytical rigor

Experience
Entry-level; no prior professional experience required. Interns should demonstrate foundational knowledge of industrial methods and Lean principles through academic coursework or capstone projects.
Education
Currently enrolled in an engineering school program (Bac +4/5 level) with specialization in industrial methods, Lean Management, or related field. Academic background in operations, supply chain, or industrial engineering is expected.
