Louis Vuitton Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern, Malissard (Drôme), France | Lean Methods & Logistics Optimization

Role & Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement improvement actions on existing and new logistics processes through critical analysis of current operations, simplification and optimization of procedures, reorganization and zoning of warehouse spaces, and ergonomic enhancement of workstations
  • Establish and disseminate best practices for continuous improvement across the logistics team
  • Pilot field-based projects to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics using Lean methodologies including 5S, DMAIC, VSM, risk analysis, and problem-solving frameworks
  • Quantify potential gains, plan resource allocation, manage project timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and track performance metrics to ensure achievement of efficiency and schedule targets

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering school program at Bac+4/5 level with specialization in industrial methods, Lean Management, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Lean tools including 5S, DMAIC, 5P, 5M, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrated capability for methodical, logical analysis and rigorous data-driven problem resolution
