Louis Vuitton seeks Compensation & Benefits Specialist in New York. Administer payroll, benefits, HRIS for US retail/corporate teams. $70K–$85K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review and audit bi-weekly payroll pre-checks to ensure accuracy of new hire data, pay increases, garnishments, and other payroll transactions
- Process bi-weekly and ad-hoc final pays in compliance with state-specific regulations, particularly California requirements
- Administer benefits programs including enrollment, eligibility determination, and ongoing management of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance programs, and retirement plans
- Coordinate annual benefits Open Enrollment process for the US, connecting with employees and auditing enrollment and eligibility reports
- Serve as escalation point of contact for HR Business Partners on complex benefit and payroll issues
- Partner with third-party vendors on employee relocations and benefits administration
- Coordinate Human Resources policies regarding compensation, benefits, time away from work, and related matters across the region
- Support retail managers and employees with onboarding, timekeeping systems, and HRIS self-service platforms
- Audit compliance with wage and hour regulations and mentor management on appropriate corrective actions
- Provide customer service to employees by answering benefit questions and resolving administrative issues
- Generate weekly and monthly payroll audit reports for the full US to support the C&B team
- Support Payroll & Benefits Manager with ad hoc projects related to payroll, benefits, and regulatory compliance
- Provide data and analysis for the LVMH Social Report and other corporate reporting requirements
- Contribute user feedback and recommendations for HRIS development projects
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of dedicated HR experience in HRIS or payroll administration
- Proven expertise in California state payroll and final pay requirements
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced data management and analytical capabilities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality with sensitive employee data
- Retail sector experience preferred
- Knowledge of wage and hour regulations and compliance requirements
