Louis Vuitton seeks an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager in Madrid to oversee payroll and C&B operations across seven Mediterranean countries.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent across the Mediterranean region
- Conduct annual market and trend analysis through salary surveys and competitive research to inform compensation positioning
- Assess and recommend improvements to employee benefits offerings on an annual and ad hoc basis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor legislation regarding employee compensation and conditions
- Develop competitive compensation packages for managerial roles and international mobility assignments
- Coordinate with local brokers, insurance providers, and service vendors in each country to optimize benefits delivery
- Implement and monitor group commission and compensation policies at the local level across all seven countries
- Contribute to regional C&B policy development, balancing EMEA guidelines with local market realities
- Support implementation of pay transparency requirements and monitor pay gap data across the region
- Develop communication and training resources for Human Resources Business Partners to enhance C&B policy understanding
- Oversee payroll processing and administration across seven Mediterranean markets
- Manage immigration-related processes including work permits, visas, and administrative authorizations for international assignments
- Maintain strict confidentiality of individual employee records and HR data
- Monitor local labor regulation changes and collective agreements impacting C&B conditions
- Prepare monthly and annual social reports for corporate leadership and auditors
- Track and report on key HR indicators including absenteeism, turnover, and staff flexibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or Law
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits management
- 5–7 years ideally combining in-house and consulting backgrounds
- Proven experience in retail or service-related environments and/or international companies managing multiple markets
- Expert knowledge of Spanish labor law and employee relations
- Fluent Spanish and English; French highly advantageous
- Advanced Excel proficiency with strong analytical and financial interpretation skills
- Valid EU work permit and Schengen visa
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask

Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in compensation and benefits management, ideally combining both in-house and consulting backgrounds. Demonstrated expertise in retail or service-related environments and/or international companies covering multiple markets is strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of Spanish labor law and employee relations is essential, particularly as Spain represents the largest market within the Mediterranean region.
Education
Bachelor's degree required, with preference for Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or Law.
