Louis Vuitton seeks Compensation & Benefits Expert in London for UK, Ireland, and South Africa reward programmes. Permanent, hybrid role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement job architecture, grading systems, and salary structures across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa region
  • Advise on base pay, variable compensation, allowances, job offers, and promotion decisions to ensure equity and market competitiveness
  • Manage annual salary reviews, bonus cycles, and incentive programme planning, modelling, validation, and execution
  • Prepare comprehensive reward recommendations and decision papers for the HR Director and executive leadership
  • Coordinate reward survey participation and benchmark compensation against luxury fashion, premium retail, and corporate market peers
  • Analyse pay positioning, equity gaps, compression risks, and market trends; develop and communicate remedial actions
  • Maintain reward data systems, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure for HR, Finance, and regional/Group stakeholders
  • Administer multi-country benefit programmes including pension, healthcare, life assurance, income protection, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Manage annual benefits renewals, market reviews, and vendor relationships to balance value delivery, cost management, and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as regional reward adviser to HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders on compensation and benefits strategy
  • Monitor regulatory and market developments across all three countries in partnership with local advisers
  • Maintain robust governance controls, audit-ready documentation, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain working payroll knowledge to coordinate reward inputs, validate payroll outputs, and provide business-continuity support to the Payroll Manager

Qualifications

  • Extensive compensation and benefits experience in complex, customer-led organisations
  • Demonstrated expertise in job evaluation, salary structure design, market benchmarking, and annual pay and bonus cycle management
  • Proven experience administering benefits renewals and managing vendor relationships
  • Experience in luxury fashion, premium retail, or comparable consumer brands (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of reward and benefits practices across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa, or comparable multi-country experience
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, controls, and HRIS systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, numerical modelling, and data analysis
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into commercially grounded recommendations for senior stakeholders

Experience

Experience in luxury fashion, premium retail, or closely related consumer brands is strongly preferred, with demonstrated understanding of both retail store and corporate office populations. Knowledge of reward practices across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa, or experience managing comparable multi-country populations. Working knowledge of payroll processes and controls sufficient to manage reward inputs, validate outputs, and provide coverage during absences.
