Louis Vuitton seeks a Compensation & Benefits Coordinator in New York to manage payroll, benefits, and HR administration in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review and audit bi-weekly payroll pre-checks to ensure new hire information, salary increases, garnishments, and payroll-related data are processed accurately
- Partner closely with the LVMH Payroll team to process bi-weekly payroll for the assigned region
- Enter payroll exceptions, transfers, and adjustments through the time and attendance system in accordance with state-specific PTO and final pay laws
- Process weekly payroll audit reports to support the Compensation & Benefits team
- Partner with third-party vendors to support relocations for new and existing employees
- Serve as an escalation point of contact for HR Business Partners on complex benefit-related matters
- Participate in annual U.S. Benefits Open Enrollment process, including employee support and auditing enrollment and eligibility reports
- Provide high-quality customer service by responding to employee benefit inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Provide coverage for the LOA Manager during absences
- Support the administration of HR policies and programs related to benefits, payroll, time away from work, and other employee matters
- Assist employees with use of timekeeping, onboarding, and self-service systems
- Partner with Retail Manager to complete the new hire onboarding process and ensure proper setup in timekeeping and HRIS systems
- Provide recommendations and user feedback to support HRIS development projects
- Prepare and validate required data for LVMH Social Report, ensuring accuracy through detailed analysis
- Support the Compensation & Benefits Manager with ad hoc projects related to payroll, benefits, and compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of Human Resources experience, with strong preference for backgrounds in HRIS or payroll within a retail environment
- Demonstrated experience processing final pay in compliance with state-specific regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Self-motivated, positive, and results-driven professional capable of excelling in high-volume, fast-paced settings
- Proactive and collaborative team player

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 31 per hour.
