Louis Vuitton, Paris: Collections Management Project Manager role overseeing heritage inventory, digitization, and recolement operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee inventory campaigns for heritage collection items, archives, and contemporary artworks in coordination with collection managers, timelines, and allocated resources
- Manage photography and digitization projects, supervise digital image and data quality, and coordinate external service providers including photographers and digitization vendors
- Establish and communicate periodic quantitative and qualitative activity reports
- Pilot data processing for collection acquisitions from business databases and structure/supervise imports
- Control data quality and ensure normalization within the collections management database, maintaining regular updates and consistency
- Develop and propose a recolement plan for collections, adapt the plan to externalized collection redeployment initiatives
- Oversee externalized recolement services including specifications development and project execution tracking
- Draft recolement reports and recommend corrective actions such as item repatriation or collection rotations
- Coordinate work across conservation, restoration, and asset management teams
- Communicate project status and results to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree in heritage management, museology, archival science, documentary informatics, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in heritage collection management and project management
- Proficiency in inventory and collection management techniques
- Strong knowledge of database systems and office software
- Knowledge of digitization techniques and digital asset management; IT project management experience preferred
- Recognized for sense of responsibility, organizational skills, proactivity, autonomy, and communication abilities
- Fluent in French and English, both written and oral
- Sensitivity to luxury sector values including excellence, rigor, attention to detail, and creativity

Education
