Louis Vuitton in Paris seeks a Collections & Documentation Assistant (apprenticeship) for a 1‑year full‑time placement in La Plaine Saint‑Denis, starting Oct 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Archives & Documentation team in the inventory and assessment of collections destined for a documentation centre.
- Structure and document a fonds of historical trunks: compile, enrich and valorise object dossiers and provenance files.
- Maintain and update the heritage database by cataloguing works and identifying archival sources within work files.
- Organise and enhance the documentation related to exhibitions (notably materials from the 1970s–2000s) in which the Heritage department participated.
- Participate in transversal projects across the department according to business needs and personal aptitudes.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master 2 (second year Master) programme in history, archives, documentation or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated interest in heritage, archives and collection management; experience in a public or private heritage institution is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation; ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- High level of rigor, methodological approach and capacity to propose improvements.
- Good command of English (reading and speaking).

Early‑career / entry level. Previous internship or short experience within a public or private heritage institution or museum is preferred but not required.
Education
Enrolled in Master 2 (history, archives, documentation, or equivalent).
