Louis Vuitton, Paris. Internship for footwear collection merchandising assistant beginning January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in and monitor the development of footwear collections in coordination with the Product Manager
- Assist in setting up collection presentation meetings and forums
- Create collection mappings across diverse product categories
- Conduct ad-hoc market studies and competitive analyses, including competitive monitoring, product positioning, and pricing benchmarking
- Develop showroom sales support materials, including showroom books, material references, and product lookbooks
- Support showroom setup and merchandising execution
- Prepare creative briefs for product photography shoots including campaigns, trade, category, and focused product features
- Lead production coordination for packshot, e-commerce, and product video photography for assigned footwear categories
- Monitor post-production activities including photographic retouching and asset optimization
- Compile and organize press kit sets for media distribution
- Manage daily prototype inventory and stock rotation
- Coordinate prototype lending for press features, campaigns, and studio requirements
- Serve as key liaison between design, production, marketing, and press teams throughout the product development cycle
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school, fashion school, or university master's program
- Strong sensitivity and demonstrated passion for fashion and luxury
- Genuine interest in footwear design and product development
- Solid understanding of fashion industry trends and terminology
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Creative mindset with comfort in multifunctional coordinator roles
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
