Role & Responsibilities
- Mount and adjust all tooling in CNC machining centers according to established production schedules
- Set up all production runs and implement tool corrections in accordance with machining specifications
- Manage production changeovers and monitor ongoing production operations
- Optimize machining parameters to enhance production efficiency and component quality
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of machined parts using precision measurement tools
- Proactively identify and propose continuous improvement solutions
- Execute preventive maintenance on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications
- Diploma in polymechanic micromechanics, production mechanics, or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated expertise setting up Bumotec 191 NEO machines with Fanuc controls
- Proficiency with Willemin-Macodel 408S2 machinery and Gibbscam software
- Strong organizational skills and priority management abilities
- Proven track record of proactive problem-solving and team collaboration
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a CNC setter, preferably on Bumotec 191 NEO and related CNC platforms.
Education
CFC diploma in polymechanic micromechanics, production mechanics, or equivalent technical qualification.
Workplace
This position is based in Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland, within easy reach of Geneva.
