Role & Responsibilities
- Manage programming and machine setup for component launches and limited-series or bespoke production, working in coordination with adjacent production teams
- Collaborate closely with the machining team to define manufacturing processes and ensure their optimal execution
- Configure, correct, validate, and document all machining processes
- Participate actively in all setup and optimization activities
- Support new product launches and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain adherence to established operating procedures and quality standards, performing appropriate controls
- Propose proactive solutions for process enhancement and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in CNC programming and setup for watch component fabrication
- Extensive experience with Willemin-Macodel W408S2 and Bumotec S191neo machines equipped with Fanuc controls
- Advanced mastery of Gibbscam software (strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and precision with a methodical approach to complex operations
- Ability to work independently and adapt to multifaceted projects
- Team-oriented mindset with proactive problem-solving capabilities and positive attitude
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of successful experience in CNC programming and setup within the horological or precision engineering sector, with demonstrated expertise in complex component fabrication.
