Louis Vuitton is hiring a Client Relations Fashion Manager in New York to lead RTW client engagement, events and budget management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute client engagement strategies for Ready‑to‑Wear (RTW) to acquire, retain and grow high‑value clients across the region.
  • Coordinate nominations and prospecting by partnering with Client Development and regional teams to identify high‑potential clients and map client journeys.
  • Plan and manage logistics for major fashion events (international shows, trunk shows), including travel, accommodations, dining, gifting and on‑site client hosting.
  • Oversee daily concierge services per global guidelines and act as a client‑facing host at exclusive brand experiences.
  • Lead zone‑wide gifting programs and logistics for sports and special initiatives, researching opportunities aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage experience budgets: optimize gifting spend, ensure event cost control, and coordinate with Events and Finance on vendor setup, invoicing and purchase orders.
  • Serve as liaison for global projects and cross‑functional initiatives, collaborating with merchandising, communications, visual merchandising, legal and procurement.
  • Propose innovative, market‑leading activations to drive RTW client acquisition and lifetime value, using insights from Client Development dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of client relations or client services experience, ideally within the luxury or high‑end retail sector.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing client‑facing events and activations, including international shows and trunk shows.
  • Proven budget management experience and competency in vendor negotiation and contract adherence.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills suited to senior client interactions.
  • Highly organized with excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required; ability to be on‑site four days per week at the Midtown Manhattan corporate office.
  • Retail experience and foreign language proficiency are advantageous.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in client relations, client development or event management, preferably within luxury goods or high‑end retail, with demonstrable budget oversight and vendor negotiation responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management or a related discipline preferred.
